Give Blood England and Wales

Blood group AB positive blood is very valuable – less than 3% of the population possess this particular group.

Many people require blood, whether it’s used for planned operations, in an emergency or for people suffering from conditions which require regular blood transfusions such as thalassaemia, leukaemia and those undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. If they have a rare blood group, we do sometimes struggle to get a perfect match for them.

You can give blood three times a year, so please be sure to keep up your outstanding work and donate every four months if you possibly can.
